Defining the Vision and Strategy
To bring SideHustl’s vision to life, we developed a strategy centred on its mission to empower two distinct yet interconnected groups: Creatrs, individuals or businesses posting jobs, and Hustlrs, those seeking flexible and convenient work opportunities. Understanding the dynamics of these audiences, we crafted a brand identity that positioned SideHustl as a modern, bold, and reliable platform. For Creatrs, this meant highlighting the platform’s simplicity, trustworthiness, and ability to connect them with skilled Hustlrs. For Hustlrs, we focused on showcasing accessibility, flexibility, and the opportunity to take control of their work schedules.
Our strategy prioritized resonating with a digitally savvy audience, ensuring that SideHustl’s messaging addressed the specific challenges faced by each group. Whether it was finding dependable workers for one-off tasks or securing consistent and rewarding gig opportunities, we framed SideHustl as the go-to solution. By blending innovation, trust, and community engagement, we established a strong foundation for SideHustl to redefine how people in the Okanagan approach flexible work.
To bring SideHustl to life, we worked closely with Cale McLellan and his team at In Houz Consulting, who led the technical development of the platform and website. This collaboration was essential, ensuring that the marketing and branding strategies we developed were tightly integrated with SideHustl’s technology.
Building the Brand
For SideHustl’s launch campaign, we targeted residents in the Okanagan through Meta ads, using visuals and messaging that emphasized SideHustl’s unique, engaging, and community-focused spirit. We also built SideHustl’s social media presence from the ground up—designing an engaging, edgy, fun, and informative profile that resonated with followers. Each post, story, and interaction was crafted to reflect SideHustl’s brand personality, building excitement and awareness around this new platform.
