"No tacky suits. No “free” tv’s. Just fun furniture." That's what Scot Vigar, owner of Factor Furniture, was looking for. That's what he got.
Defining the brand
Furniture can be bland. Scott was looking for something different - something fresh. Just like the furniture you can find in the store, the brand had to be bright, modern, and stand out among its competitors. For the Factor Furniture logo we had a simple request to combine the two F's in a unique way, in which we started to evolve our initial concepts.
We also wanted to implement the mathematical implications of factor as a divisor into a simple geometric logo. Upon presenting this concept to Scott we also noticed how it resembled an interior design floor plan and could have the perception of couches, chairs, and small end tables.
The varying levels of implied depth to this simplistic design was the perfect match for Scott.
Developing the website
The website extends the logo and brand with clean straight lines and bright colours. Built as responsive website, it works seamlessly across devices and screen sizes. Factor Furniture can update its website using a content management system to show off their wide array of modern furniture.
